Decoy

Decoy is a weapon that appears in Zone of the Enders and The 2nd Runner. When used, an electronic vision of the player's mech is created, and the original mech is shrouded from enemy sensors. The decoy eventually does disappear after sustaining enough damage or if the player switches to another subweapon.

Decoy is a key weapon in Zone of the Enders. The player need to be equipped with this weapon in order to defeat the boss Tyrant . Since Tyrant could fire an extremely powerful lock on laser, which can be neither guarded nor evaded, on Jehuty. Without the Decoy, Jehuty would be instantly killed.
