Announced on September 23rd during TGS of 2017[1], Konami unveiled a 4k resolution re-release of Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner with full VR compatibility. This remake was shown to have various other features added such as a model viewer, cinematic theatre for viewing cutscenes, Very Easy mode for newer players, expanded tutorial, minimap, enhancements to the Zoradius minigame, alternate control schemes and remastered sound design[2]. With the release of the demo and digital pre-orders on May 23rd 2018 it was unveiled that the final release date is September 6th 2018[3].
